For more than 65 years AAOA has provided many benefits to it’s DO members, including:
- Education of public and members on pertinent legislative issues
- Promotion and support of the osteopathic profession
- Participation in the annual AOA and AAOA conventions which bring osteopathic physicians and the profession’s supporters together for educational sessions, social activities and planning for the future
- Selection of AAOA officers
- Selection of annual and long-term issues and projects
- A central hub to provide ongoing support to those in the osteopathic profession

As a member of the Advocates for the American Osteopathic Association, you may: -- Participate in the annual convention -- Help select officers -- Offer input on the selection of AAOA educational and community projects -- Provide support for the men and women of the osteopathic medical profession.
